Visbella Leather Vinyl Repair Kit
This repair kit is good for repairing any burn holes, chips, rips, blemishes, imperfections, & cracks on wood, Formica, paneling, plastic, or any hard surface, like, Automotive Upholstery & Trim, Furniture, Leather Jackets & Clothing: sofa, Couch, Auto sheets, Tops, Dash, Boat seats, upholstery, luggage, apparel and carpets.
step 1
Prepare and clean damage area.
Clean the area with a household cleaner. Make sure the area is dry before starting the repair work. Carefully trim off frayed or excess threads or charred material with a razor blade or knife. If burn damaged, remove charred material with razor or knife.
Step 2
Insert cloth backing fabric.
For repair graeter than ¼inch cuts, cut the encosed fabric slightly larger than damage. Use the spatula to insert it into and under the damaged to provide support for the repair. Use the vinyl adhesive to glue the bkacking fabric in place.

Enclosed are three grain paper.
Select the grain paper closest to that of your damaged vinyl. On the top enter of the grain paper make an outline of the damaged area. This will allow to position the right place of heat transfer tool in step 7.

Fill the damage.
For deep damages like vinyl dashboard, use the clear vinyl adhesive and filler and spatu;a to fill in damaged area to level surface. The adhesive will shrink slightly when dry, leaing a void which will be filled in with the colored repair compound.

Matching color.
Mix the colors in small amounts with spatula until the correct shade is obtained. Check the color match by rubbing s small amount of the color onto the undamaged vinyl and then remove it with a rag.

Applying the color repair compound.
Once vinyl adhesive is dry, use the spatula to evenly and neatly apply compound into the damage area. Wipe up any excess from around the hole or damage. Do not over fill the damage area.
step 7
Place the grain paper on repair.
Tape the grain paper over the color compound making sure the outline is directly over the damaged area. Do not move it. If repair is on a vertical surface, tape the grain paper down.
step 8
Heat cure.
This is very important step in the repair process. Plug in a hot iron and allow it four minutes to heat up on high setting. Place tip ppf heat transfer tool directly on the iron and allow several minutes to heat the tool.
